Who We Are

We provide the first confidential and non-partisan space for Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) politics and future policy-making through open debate, research, and publication. Our association brings together students and scholars to engage critically with regional issues, exchange diverse perspectives, and produce thought provoking analyses that contribute to informed and inclusive dialogue on MENA affairs.

To create a space for informed, non-partisan dialogue on the Middle East and North Africa, bringing together research, diverse perspectives, and meaningful conversations on the politics and future of the region.

From debate circles on the politics and future of the MENA region to trivia nights, socials, and educational events, MPRA creates spaces to question, discuss, and connect. Our events bring together diverse perspectives while building a community around a shared interest in the region.

MPRA will publish a collection of peer-reviewed research papers exploring key issues in MENA policy and politics. Throughout the year, members will have the opportunity to contribute their research and perspectives, with selected works featured on our website and brought together in our end-of-year journal.

Anyone! Whether you study politics, history, economics, journalism, international development, or simply want to understand the region better, MPRA is a space to learn, exchange perspectives, and join the conversation. No expertise required. Just curiosity.
